Instead of being there as nothing more than FIESA report checkers to take $ from us MTs?
You could probably do away with quite a few QA staff (sorry, but true) if they were there just to field questions re accounts and advise on BOS standards and style issues. You know, the way it used to be, QA as resources and helpers, NOT adversaries who take away our money.
While you're at it, take away FIESA and its penalties and only target MTs who are habitually lazy and do no research OR those who are horrible at their jobs (we have all seen the awful reports of these - they either don't care because they want to go fast or they just plain are not qualified).
It would do a world of good for MT morale if we, on top of all our TSMs and COMs getting shafted or quitting, didn't have to worry about the constant FIESA barrage of nasty "errors" which are nothing more than a means to dock our already horrendously low pay.
Think about it, please.
