Remote employers are less willing to work with you. You either get it or you don't. I got my first remote HCC coding job starting $18/hour. High, High stress. Less required accuracy than MT but high charts per hour. I didn't necessarily choose coding (my employer transitioned me over) and if I had it to do all over again I would choose nursing. Much more versatile and cannot be off shored. Always plenty of jobs for that too. Best of luck in what you choose to do.
