If this is true, it is truly sad. I have one theory -- only a theory. The rank and file managers, team leads, etc. may not even know there has been a change in the way lines are counted. This may be a machination of the corporate IT people. I still don't quite want to believe it. It is such a dishonest (and foolish) thing to do.
