You are better off finding a different job and leaving than subjecting yourself to the hell that comes when your manager makes it her personal mission to "manage you out" because you dared to go above her head to her supervisor. You will end up terminated and the manager will still remain. Noel may not want the emails, but he does nothing to manage the managers either. In fact, when it comes down to it he will blame you for insubordination for daring to go above your manager.
Sometimes it is just best to cut your loss and get out.
