MT WORK - Maggie

Just a thought here - I read the boards every day and see lots of posts about MTs tired of this, tired of that, needing work etc.  I own a small home based transcription business and have been unsuccessfully trying to find someone to work for me, straight typing, easy doctors, for 7 cents a line.  This equates to $15 per hour once you know the doctor.  Everyone I interview wants more than 7 cents.  Pretty hard to pay that when we as the owners are only getting 9 to 10 cents a line from the clients.  Remember we have lots of expenses, business license, FTP charges, call in dictation charges, secure email charges, etc. so we have to make a little bit!
