I just wanted to let you know, I'm a transcriptionist happily working for 14.80 an hour. The work is not difficult, it is flexible, I have nice coworkers, and I work from home. I have been doing this for over 20 years and am very happy. I understand that there was a time when transcriptionists made big money, because there was a shortage. That is not true anymore. It's possible that many of the transcriptionists complaining about their pay need to readjust their expectations. Obviously you should not be running out of work, and I think how some of you are treated is ridiculous, but Maggie, if I wasn't already working more hours than I'd like, I'd love to work for you. :)
