That's exactly why it never learns. I see it every day. People leave those things, as well as yellow fin stirrups. It's not just ILP work either. It's sad.
It's amazing the crap that comes through. Unless you see it every day, you would never believe it. Some of the stuff I see is embarrassing. I don't know if it's new hires or just people who don't know better or care.
Don't get me wrong, ASR is horrible and twice as much trouble as it's worth, but if you have people who obviously don't know or care what they are doing, it's never going to get better.
Just because you know better, it doesn't mean everyone else does.
