Sorry you had a bad experience Lynn. =) Learning to understand the accent and different drug names can be tough and you were probably one of the first overseas MTs they dealt with. I think they've mellowed with time. I know I've had to remind especially at first that sometimes the accent really gets confusing. When I first heard a doctor say "The patient came in today" I though she said "came in to die." Whaaaat??!!
