I had to have a new version of ediscript put on my computer and it took 2 hours... did I stay clocked in? NO. I am paid for production and anytime I am away from production for more than a few minutes, I punch out. My take on that was more like when you check for jobs and punch in to look then punch out when there are not any jobs. If they tell you to check back every 30 minutes or whatever, they are supposed to pay report time. I would rather defend myself with the law behind me than listen to people who are breaking the law...
