If it is not in your written contract, I would insist on being paid full price for this report. You are your own business and not subject to employee status, so if it is not in black and white, I would consider it nonpayment for services. If you have someone paint your house and the painter forgot to pain a small portion of it, you still have to pay the painter. You may take a percentage off for the area not painted, or have him fix it for no additional charge, but you still have to pay him for painting the rest of the house.
