Companies say what they want. They just do it in a 'professional legalese' terminology that looks up front.
They can state your hire date, your end date, your absentee record, your record for tardiness, ending shift early, and here's the one that will get you: The company can ask if you are eligible for rehire. If Nuance says no, the other company can read into the "no" whatever they want.
You need to cover yourself for that issue.
