I have one physician who is an older gentleman (I think he's 78 or 79). He is THE most polite and considerate doctor I've had the pleasure to work for. When I do something in addition to his office notes (update his CV, type letters, type articles, etc.) he always makes sure to thank me more than once. :) He even emailed me the other day to thank me for "taking the time" to update his CV and wish me a Happy Holidays. :) While the fact that I haven't had a raise in almost 10 years sucks, it does make a difference when they actually genuinly appreciate what you do. :)
