Having an occasional drink is NOT a sin. Drunkeness, whether habitual or not, IS a sin, for we are to be sober minded in all we do/say.
Smoking physically (not spiritually) ruins the temple (heart) of God (and other organs), which health wise, then prevents us to go out and work for him the way we ought to whether it be ministering, singing praises, etc.
