Americans with Disabilities Act? If, so I would lodge a complaint with them, telling them exactly what you posted here. They may be in some trouble for dropping you like a hot potato because you have speech issues, which by the way, would not inhibit your ability to work in MT. I think this is a clear cut example of discrimination. You said you feel that a lot of companies hold this against you. Has this same thing happened to you before? If so, I'd be on the horn to the ADA people immediately. Don't let them get away with this.
