Pharm tech is a low level grunt job that pays retail clerk wages and has absolutely no lateral or upward mobility. Sure pharmacies want trainees! They can't keep people in the job.

For the effort you would expend on learning it, you would do better to learn coding. That is a well-respected, very well-paying career with upward and lateral mobility. The pay can start at $22-24/hr if you have the right training, so you will earn back your tuition expenses quickly.
