long to complete - just a few months, plus hospital pharmacies use techs. Admitting clerks in hospitals and registrars are also jobs where medical terminology is valued. There are also jobs in the insurance industry where medical terminology is an asset - claims analysis. Some insurance companies still hire transcriptionists that have medical terminology knowledge.
