How do we get CMT certification now? - Ancient MT

I've been an MT for 30 years and back when I started, it was very difficult to close up shop for 2 days to travel 150 miles to test.  Is it any easier now?  Can it be done online?  I've never needed it before, but some ads for on-sight are requiring it.
