A friend got a job (against my advice) and put my name for a referral. She and I have both asked about this several times, and the usual reply is "I'll send to the appropriate person," or "I'll get back to you." {Insert crickets chirping.} I have yet to get my $92 and some odd cent referral bonus.
Why does HR keep accidentally sending out these e-mails. Either they have someone incompetent in HR who doesn't look, or they are intentionally pissing us off so we'll do a mass exodus, and they can insert those 3,000 new employees.
