Job dilemma - worry-wart Posted: Aug 31st, 2015 - 12:07 pm
I have an interview this week with the company I used to work for that outsourced my job to MModal. It is not transcription, but transcription-related. The pay is a little more than what I make now, is in-house. The drive will be 37 miles one way. So my expenses (gas, car insurance, clothing) will be quite a bit more. I am getting sick of the constant audits and over-time with MModal. My husband is on disability and sometimes has problems that I am thankful I am home for. If I get offered the position what do I do? I was lucky enough to get somewhat okay hours with MModal, 2 nights, but the rest daytime hours. My manager, PC, and TSA are more than good to me, but I sometimes cannot sleep worried about being put on PC or even fired for a bad audit, but then again, if I am not working at home I will be worried about my husband. I think I need to be on a chill-pill and am discussing that issue with my physician. Any advise?
