Minimum wage? - MT

How are so many people making minimum wage? I am just speaking from a straight typing perspective, my platform is 8 cpl (unless you go over 10% QC which is 7) so if you are doing the 150 lph then that's 12.00 per hour right? Am I missing something? Is this more regarding the VR platforms? I usually just count on the 8 cpl and try to max out my lines. If I do better, great. If not, I'm not surprised.
