It's one thing to talk about it and wonder what will happen and toss around ideas. It's a completely different thing when your friends get laid off/fired.
Even if you know it is coming, at this point, for those of us hanging on for any of a number of good reasons, it still sucks to get fired and even worse to not have income.
I hope your friends all have things lined up and can at least feel some relief that this guessing game is over.
