Winscribe will not let me appear offline - Wendy

I am a newbie typing under an editor right now, and I need some help with Winscribe. I have never had this problem and noone can help. When all of my files/jobs load it will not let me appear offline. I have to be offline so others can load their jobs as well. It is Winscribe 3.7. I have booted, Reconnect, eveyrthing and nothing is working!!! Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I've worked with Winscribe for many years. I've never heard of having to be offline so others can load their jobs. Your company is supposed to upload all available work into the local queue and then you transfer however many jobs you're allowed into your personal queue. You don't have to be offline so others can do it too.

Transcribing offline frees up a typist license which can then be used by other typists who have to work online. This way you can have 2 typists working for each typist license you have - the restriction being that eventually the 'online' typist wil have to log off so the "offline enabled" typist can go online and grab more jobs.

Hi Wendy. For a Typist to be able to go offline, they need to have "offline enabled" checked in their profile. Your Winscribe administrator should be able to do this for you. If not, drop me a line with your site name and I'll see if I can sort it for you with the reseller that provided your site with Winscribe.

I've got Windows 7 Professional on my laptop, and have XP mode set up and running. I'm using WinScribe and my problem is that XP mode doesn't seem to recognize my foot pedal, but everything else in WinScribe is working great on 7. Does anyone have a driver that I can get a link to?
