Can someone tell me are the team leads still USA born or is that going to India also?

I haven't heard an Indian accent as of yet, nor are the names very Indian sounding.

Have you heard something?

I have heard Nuance's goal is to be 100% Indian at some point, so who the heck knows.

I really like my team lead, she makes my job so much better. I am just wondering which direction these takeovers take in this regard. I have not heard anything.

Our ROM has said nothing will change with our TL or QA setup. - If it is true or not is another story.

Don't count on anything. If it goes anything like the buyout of my long-time MTSO, they will come in and sweep house. It did not happen immediately, but it did. We lost some of our favorite supervisors and managers with no explanation nor warning. Very upsetting to say the least.

Did your ROM say nothing will change "for now," by any chance? I ask because my MTSO used that qualifier several times, and everything they tacked that onto ended up changing.

It's so maddening when you come to realize that they KNEW it would change at some point and were just giving us false hope. I don't know how they can live with themselves, knowing what all of these changes are doing to their really trusting, decent employees.

coming, but they've been promised bonuses to keep hush hush. Think about it, if they told us the truth and everyone exited at once, there would be a big mess right? So they are probably working under orders to keep the waters calm. Sad, but I'm afraid true.

Team Leads/ROMs (Transcend) - TooManyChiefs

So, if things go as planned/rumored (offshoring of most all accounts), what will TLs and ROMs be doing? Wouldn't that leave too many management people with no one (at least here) to manage? It seems they wouldn't need that many for the combined company, especially if they don't or won't need us in the (near) future. I'm just curious. I wonder if they will endure paycuts as well? Will they be made to do *gasp* editing or QA? In my opinion, one ROM needs a taste of it. SHe is way too full of herself. Just sent email on emailing and how busy they are to answer but we get long emails on their weather, their kids, etc. We were told not to reply a courteous thank you when/if getting an answer to an email because she/they are just too busy. SHe is no leader and has ruined our team since she slithered into it 6 months ago.

NOBODY IS AVAILABLE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTION YOU MAY HAVE. All the sudden no matter who is "on" always has a busy notice up on their status. I have the same old complaint----my team lead and her sidekide "SUPER QC" not answering their emails. Only this time, I actually got a response (2 days later, but at least I got one this time). I was intrigued and surprised....until I read the email. It seems she did not even read it. I was asking her an account specifics question because one QC corrected me for doing something one way, so I did it her way and got corrected by another QC.....same pay period, no bonus.&nbs ...

No one "leads" anymore, they just direct traffic. manipulate MTs' work queues any way that suits them, just because they can? They know just which jobs are crap & which are at least doable or that 1 in 10 pretty good dictator, and no sooner does an MT download a job that's at least understandable/doable, these low-lives snatch up that job for themselves or 1 of their friends as soon as the MT gets it in his/her queue?
