First is upper management, 1 of 3 anyway because 2 of them are on vacation for a whole week, who finds a chair and then passes it down to lower management who then places it in front of the MT to stand on. The MT stands on the chair but first they must remove the still working fine bulb that is in place and throw it away. They are then given a defective bulb by the SR folks and told by management they must successfully place 10 of them per hour in order to meet the standards. After twisting and turning and getting it just right, the MT successfully places the first bulb. As they gain momentum, they are able to successfully place 5 bulbs readily at which point the management then moves the chair while the MT is still standing on it knocking them out of balance. The SR folks now take away the rest of the defective bulbs they had given the MT and replace them with newer even more defective bulbs and the MT has to again successfully learn how to place them by twisting and turning a different way. After successfully placing 3 bulbs, the QA people come along and pull the chair out from under the MT. QA then proceeds to stand on the back of the MT to play around with the bulbs which they are given a special tool to brighten up ever so slightly that only an expertly trained eye could notice. It is demanded by management by a poorly written email riddled with minor (or are they major or even critical) errors that the MT go out of their way to look at what QA did and sign a statement acknowledging their failure to make it shine as bright. So where does the insanity lie? I wouldn't doubt they've invested millions into SR which can't tell the difference between 2 simple words, but they walk all over the MT who can. The SR people are going to continue to make defective bulbs. Why wouldn't they? They'd be out of a job if they ever did it right.
