I'm so happy!  I got my audit, passed with flying colors and got an email from sup saying good work and keep it up!  He also suggested that I submit for a raise since I've been consistent.  I said I didn't know that we could, but apparently we can if we maintain that 98% average consistently for a certain amount of time.  I'm submitting my request as it has been over a year that I have maintained this. 

Wow! learn something new every day with the Q!  ;)

OMG, lol. Can you just see all the raise requests they - are going to get now?? LOL nm

I anticipated these types of responses, so I just wanted to weigh in on Zeta's post. I got a raise 2 months ago so "lol and omg" to nm!

I don't want to draw attention to myself if I am already there. But I always pass my audits and have not had a raise in 7 years.

When I requested a raise, after not having one in almost 10 years, I was denied because my CPL was above my level. My CCM said the standard "ceiling" is as follows:
Level 1 = 8 cents, level 2 = 9 cents, and level 3 = 10 cents.

This does not mean you can't get more than that, since many of us do, just that you won't get any raises. Only cuts!

It amazes me how people are so mean when somebody has good things happen. First off, to the original poster, congratulations. I too have had raises in the last several years because I asked for them. I have found you cannot wait for them to give you one. Some people just can't say good for you.

Perhaps she does still have room to grow in her tier level and maybe some of you are topped out in your tier level. If she has room to grow, why would you put her down? I have room to grow also. I am not topped out in my tier level either. Does that mean you have to be nasty to people who are happy to get a raise? Grow up!

If you are at the ceiling, if possible, can you try for a tier advancement? I don't know what tier you are, but if not Tier 3, maybe try that. If Tier 3, it still wouldn't hurt to ask your CCM. If not and at highest rate you can go, be thankful. You are making more than the rest of us in this dying field.

P.S. Don't know which post was yours above, but only meant my comment to the people with nasty remarks about the OP's post.

I personally have never made what some people have made and I have been doing it a long time also. To the ones who made enormous amounts of money, sorry it is not the same anymore but that does not mean you have to be mean to the ones who never made that money. I realize some people are having a really hard time with what has happened in this field, but it is not our fault you are suffering and we feel for you. For the moment, I am doing okay with my lower line rate and am grateful to have a job, unlike many people I know, and the time may come where the well dries up in my area also, but for now I am happy with what I have. If that time comes, I will figure it out. It would not be the first time I have had hard times and have always found a way to survive. I will never be nasty towards people who have it better than me, though.

OP: Congrats. I hope you get your raise. It's a long process, but it can be worth the wait.

All others: I have been here 8+ years, had raise after raise and am tier 3 and submitted and was approved for another this year. I make a very decent cpl and feel that the raises reflect my worth. I am not making what I did on the outside, but sure is nice to be at home, no distractions, and make a decent living.

I also agree with someone who said that you all can be really nasty, but believe it's based on ignorance of how to get what you want in this company.

I for one, would never settle for 9 cpl or 5 cpl for ASR! I'd move on to another company first.

We are entitled to and do receive raises. ~end.

I think the important thing to note here is that consistent quality CAN pay. Perhaps a lot of folks didn't realize they could ask for a raise, but bear in mind you do have to prove yourself with consistent quality in order to actually RECEIVE any raise.

I got feedback on a report today, CRITICAL FEEDBACK.  The doctor dictating was absolutely horrible, worse than horrible. I could not understand him, tried my hardest and before I uploaded it sent a note to QA asking for a sample of his work, explained that I could NOT UNDERSTAND HIM.  In reviewing the revisions, I don't agree with many of them.  I still don't hear what the QA inserted.  I dont' agree with it and I'm angry that it was returned to me with C ...

I started with MModal a month or so ago and I am noticing that MME feedback is not consistent.  One will cross out dictation in the document that another will leave (like service or surgeon or primary doc). Also,  "myself/himself/herself" should not be changed?   I have to admit that one was a shock.  It is just soooooo wrong.  ...

M-Modal Feedback

Would appreciate feedback from anyone using M-Modal, especially Webmedx Enterprise MTs. Dreading the conversion and wondering if my fears are well founded. I'm pretty fast straight typing but rarely get more than 50 lines more an hour with current VR. Seems all it takes is just one lousy report to negate the lines made on the decent reports. Afraid it's just going to be worse with M-Modal and the whole drop-down heading thing. Anyone have any encouragement to offer? ...

With all the recent ridiculous corrections everyone's been getting, it might be a good idea to keep a record of the name of MME/QA who reviewed the reports.  If an MME/QA is consistently abusing you/us, at least you will know who to complain about to your CCM about.  ...

Have a hospital where you are to phonetically spell name if not given (it wasn't except to call him "Steven")  QA so kindly sent me QA feedback and the only thing on there was that apparently Steven was actually spelled "Stephun."  Is that ACTUALLY going to be of any help in the future?  QA wonders why we have an attitude?  DON'T WASTE ANY MORE OF MY TIME THAN IS ALREADY BEING WASTED.  ...

I just started working 3 days ago and have been doing very well with QA (100%) until yesterday. It seems now I am getting more scores in the high 90s, but I really feel that some of them are error of the QA. I got dinged for this: Blood sugars were in the 150-250 range. Most of them, though, were around 200. QA took out the commas around "though." Would you do that??? I figure "though" is nonessential and is extra info, hence the comma. Please let me know your thoughts. I have been noticing ...
