Urgent question - help! - anon

Posted: Feb 12, 2010

My shift is over in an hour and a half and the next job in my que is 1700+seconds (clinic notes).  Do I hit break or abandon to give it to someone else?

Never mind.

Just log off? - Maybe that would help?

Do not quite understand. Once I am done with a report and cannot do the next report that is long, I finish the report I am on and log off. Hope this helps.

If you absolutely know you won't be able to stay late and finish it, then I would break it and notify the CCM with the internal job #. I have had to do this on occasion when I had to end my shift at an exact time to get my kids to school. She is okay with it as long as I notify her with the job# and because it doesn't happen very often.

I went to Urgent Care with my fiance last week as he was not feeling well.  They got us right in.  A medical assistant took his vitals immediately. The doctor was in within 5 minutes.  (There was only one person in the waiting room ahead of us and, incidentally, no one yet after us.)  Everyone was very nice, personable, and efficient.  The doctor started asking my fiance questions about his health, as he sat in front of a laptop computer and entered all the information h ...
