Sore body working in 7.1 - alphamt

My back is aching, my spirit bummed. No matter how "hard" i work, it is never consistently fast enough to beat my old regular MT speed. Getting too old physically to work in such a stilted fashion. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Thanks for listening!

My legs are starting to hurt, from the hips right down to the toes. I cant do an 8-hour shift anymore. I cant even do a 6 hour shift straight through anymore. I think I might have to do 2-hours sessions soon... Work 2, break 1, work 2, break 1, so it should only take me 11 hours to do 8! This is what my live has turned into. :(

OK, nobody could have been more scared of the new 7.2 than me. I have been on it for about a month or so now. I am doing better, and my activity time was less than the 15%. It was 11%. I can remember when it was 27%. There are a few other things that have gotten better too. I have ADD, and it is hard for me to learn new things, but little by little I am learning something new each week. It will get better for you. Before long you will be very good at your work once more. Chin up!! Things will get better.

I have had 2 disk surgeries in my neck so far...Took a week off to get stuff done around the house..to include painting the shutters outside and pressure washing the whole house...I was in less pain after that week then sitting here typing...Need to retire.

I'm not sure how 7.1 is different from any other software in terms of our bodies hurting, it's from SITTING here, and not just sitting, being totally stressed out.

Any suggestions? It's really annoying makes typing difficult and I definitely cannot type with a band-aid on my finger. I'm one of those finicky MTs who takes forever to find a comfortable height of my chair, distance from the keyboard, height of my monitor, etc. And absolutely nothing on my wrists and hands! I have an odd question. If a US trained Medical Transcriptionist works from home (in the U.S.), but then decides to spend 1/2 the year (or more) in a foreign country, is it possible (ethical/legal) to continue working as an MT while in that country? The MT would keep the US address, and bank account. All paychecks would continue to be direct deposited into current U.S. bank account. MT would continue to pay U.S. taxes on all monies earned. I know I am not the only one working 2 jobs or more. Between them I am scheduled 68 hours per week. I have them spread out enough I have "long breaks" in between to fix supper, take a little me time out around the lunch hour and housework kind of gets slighted.
