InHealth Transcription - Anyone have info?? - MaMel

I'm really frustrated with the paycut we just took at Nuance. Looking elsewhere. Saw an ad here on the seekers board for InHealth out of Georgia. Is anyone familiar with this company? Are they fair? Easy to work for? What are the accounts like? I don't mind the occasional ESL account, but mostly ESL is not for me. So, I'm just putting out a feeler... any comments?

Inhealth: Uses P-Scribe platform and Fusion 10 player. Cannot type in MS Word and paste into P-Scribe. 7.5 to 8 cpl for IC and 7 cpl employee. They do have insurance, but I know nothing about it. 60 minutes dictation part time and 120 minutes for full time (1200 lines). Accounts fairly decent, mostly clinic work. No pay raises. No set schedule just have to complete all your minutes.

Carol Scherer is the recruiter, but she never answered my email when I sent in my resume a couple weeks ago, nor answered my followup email.

I almost hired on with Inhealth in 2006...actually took the test and passed, but my deal with wireless fell through and dialup would not work. I have wireless now, but apparently they are not hiring. This info is recent.

Thanks for the reply and good information! I'll try giving a call soon and feel out the waters. I had to chuckle at your comment "No pay raises." I've been working at MTSOs for 10 years and never got a pay raise. They say "your incentive plan is your raise." Idiots.

This company is NOT what you want. They will only have work for you if they like you. Carol, the recruiter, likes nobody (under her,that is). They don't give pay raises and if you don't stay on her good side, you'll be told there is no work. Very politically run company. Save yourself the trouble.
