Documed - horrible test recording

Is anybody else having trouble playing the test files for DocuMed? One would play, but the other one wouldn't. I see from the archives that this has been an issue in the past. Any suggestions? ...

Seriously, I wonder if there is a way to record these dictations. I would LOVE to hear for myself the "errors" QA/QC are always finding and putting into Fiesa. The fact that we are not provided with proof of these "errors" really concerns me. Please Nuance bigwigs, prove to me that QA/QC isn't making things up or hearing things wrong. Really, are we to believe that we are the only ones making mistakes, that they always have perfect hearing? I want proof! ...

I have to transcribe something that was recorded WITHOUT benefit of a transcription program. It's just a recording (I think it's on the Internet right now). It wasn't recorded via any sort of transcription program that I can sync up with a foot pedal, and it wasn't recorded on a tape or anything. I keep seeing the same ad for neurology/orthopedics for Documed. It disappears for a few weeks and then it comes back again. I took the neurology test (I have 13 years of experience in that specialty) but still do not hear anything. Yet, the ad keeps reappearing on a regular basis. Something seems wrong here. ...

I know there are a lot of comments on here about M-modal being horrible and I have to definitely agreed, it is the only VR I have used so nothing to really compare it to but cannot do many more lines per hour than I transcribe (usually about 275 lph or so), anyone willing to share how much they do on M-modal and how long the account has been on VR? Hey everybody, I just needed to vent a little bit. I started my first day on my first job, and it went absolutely horrible. I was using the Emdat InScribe platform, which seems easy enough, but they have sooo many templates that the doctor should be using and isn't. My first few reports were okay, but then everything went downhill. I'm supposed to use the templates, but half the time, I had to erase 3/4 of them because it wasn't what he was saying.
