Documed? - Dinosaur

Does anybody here know anything about Documed in New Jersey? Their website looks interesting, no outsourcing, mostly clinic work. Anyone with experience, would appreciate knowing about pay rates, ESL, straight tx vs VR, IC versus employment status and benefits, QA....well pretty much anything anyone looking to work for a company would want to know. The good, the bad and the ugly. Don't hold back! Thanks in advance.

I worked for them for a short period of time. Very nice people, pay is average, like everywhere else I suppose. I cannot tell you about the work load because I had so many problems with the horrible clunky platform that I was never able to transcribe more than 10 jobs in about 8 to 10 hours. It is really the worst that I have ever seen. It is straight typing, IC, made it off of QA very quickly (within a day or so).

Again, as I said, they are very nice people, Faye especially, but I just could not make it past the horrible platform.

Good luck Dinosaur! I am a dinosaur as well, I have been transcribing for 25 years. I was lucky enough that a pathology transcription job landed in my lap at my local hospital. Again, good luck to you in your search!

probably already filled, but did anyone else have trouble downloading the testing for it? I never could get it to open and listen to it. Any advice on a program? Would like to hear from anyone who currently works or has recently worked for Documed. I would like to know what your experience has been or had been with them. I have read the archives, and there is either really good or really bad. Would like to know what the current situation is with them. Also, does anyone know why the same orthopaedic position is repeatedly posted? Is the sound quality as bad working for them as the test was? Any information would be appreciated. ...
