What's up with Documed? - WonderingMT

I keep seeing the same ad for neurology/orthopedics for Documed. It disappears for a few weeks and then it comes back again. I took the neurology test (I have 13 years of experience in that specialty) but still do not hear anything. Yet, the ad keeps reappearing on a regular basis. Something seems wrong here.

due to new information that came my way. All I can say is no thanks and now I most certainly do understand why their ad keeps running every few weeks.

So what turned you off exactly? - MTT4280

Is it just me, or was the audio file for the test dictation hard to understand? I tried to listen to it but it was so muffled I didn't think it was worth the effort.

Yes the test was muffled and I felt more difficult that necessary. They run this ad just about weekly and the testing dictation never changes. I was also told by another MT who just left there that the platform is awful and she did not know how anyone could make a living working for them. I just received an email from them today that said my test was very good but there were a few small errors so they could not hire me at this time. LOL! Very good, but they can't hire me? Who ever scores 100% on a transcription test, especially when you cannot even use the foot pedal. Oh my, run from that place everyone! I knew the frequent advertising was a bad sign. It is.

Applied and took the test after taking the trouble to download Express Scribe and have been working for a neurology/neurosurgery practice since 1991. Not a word from them.

probably already filled, but did anyone else have trouble downloading the testing for it? I never could get it to open and listen to it. Any advice on a program? I have express, but no luck there for me. Tired of testing - been jobhunting for almost 3 months now -, but thought what is 1 more test - LOL! Would like to hear from anyone who currently works or has recently worked for Documed. I would like to know what your experience has been or had been with them. I have read the archives, and there is either really good or really bad. Would like to know what the current situation is with them. Also, does anyone know why the same orthopaedic position is repeatedly posted? Is the sound quality as bad working for them as the test was? Any information would be appreciated. ...

Wondering why I can't open the file....I've tried in express scribe and media player and even looking for the codec online that I supposedly am missing and still no luck. Does anyone know if there is a way to contact them about this? ...
