Straight transcription means - StillAnMT

There are two ways a document is created.

1) Straight transcription means the spoken voice is listened to by the transcriptionist and the document is created.

2) Speech recognition (AKA voice recognition) program. SR (or VR) is a program that uses artificial intelligence to "listen" to the spoken voice in order to produce a document in draft form that the transcriptionist listens to again and edits for errors the SR program created.

Whether straight transcription or SR is used, the MT proofreads in order to submit an error-free document.
