I posted this way down below but decided it was worth repeating for anyone who needs to know. I just got a call from HR with my official firing and asked a couple of questions.
Severance package, what there is of it...
I was 30 hrs a week and my severance is 3 days of work. I asked about my health insurance and they said that would only be good for another 3 days also, so if you have any prescriptions you need refills on, get them today or tomorrow. Of course, we will be eligible for COBRA...if we're rich enough to pay the $1200 or so a month. It sucks all the way around.
I forgot to ask her if we get our PTO though.
