QA Medical editing - MTALLDAY Posted: Nov 9th, 2017 - 11:58 am
Hi! I have worked for MModal Canada for almost 5 years now, doing 1000 audio minutes a week, looking to try something new and make more money. I've been offered a position as a QA medical editor. My question is, is it worth it to work as a medical editor? The pay is less per audio minute, it it substantially faster to edit? I really don't want to get into this if I'm going to see a pay decrease or spend the time to learn this new position and have it not be financially more beneficial than regular transcription and SR work. Any advice from people with some experience in this transition of positions??
