Does your resume reflect recent continuing education of any sort, HIPAA training, etc? Do you have your certification credential? Are you using all networking tools available, including membership in professional organizations to which the small and medium-sized MTSOs who have the type of work you want belong? Are you refraining from posting negativity of any sort on Facebook and other social media which employers check? Have you studied ESL habits so that you can handle them without hesitation?
PT jobs are out there, but they often are not advertised. Hiring is done via word of mouth, often among those with the RMT/RHDS or the CMT/CHDS credential. I have been interviewed at (gasp!) AHDI events.
