there is a way to set codes into the emails so that they can be deleted remotely.
I had that happen when I resigned from another MTSO, on good terms, and somehow strangely enough after that I could never find my copy of the resignation email in my own computer again. Not in sent, not in trash, not saved anywhere.
I sent the original, the manager responded, I responded one more time as did she, and that was it. After that, gone.
No other emails deleted or gone, only that one.
The company I was resigning from got sold to Screwance, so it's no surprise that it really could have happened. There's nothing too low for them to pull.
