I am in the same state of affairs right now. I am tired of the NJA so I look at ads for MTs and apply to some but never get a response. I have plenty of experience so that is not the problem. Part of my problem is that I do not want the hassle of being an IC so that limits me as well. At this point I just wish that all the MTSOs would close and send everything overseas...why not, they do anyway. I really wish I could give you some advice but I can't even help myself. Everyone says to get out of MT but when you are near retirement age there are not a lot of options and I have bills to pay.
