Non-production time - tiredMT Posted: Feb 16th, 2017 - 8:25 am In Reply to: Fluency versus Teamwork time - big discrepancy
Now, I was told that 15% of your time each day is allowed for non-production. So, if you are punched in on production, 15% of that time is allowed for stuff like breaks, emails, etc. So, if you work 10 hours, 15% of that time would be 1.5 hours a day of non-production. So, 85% of your time needs to be producing work. That is what I was told, and if that is wrong, then I guess I will figure it out someday. I do not punch out for breaks or reading emails. I just keep a tally of how long I have spent doing these things, in order to keep within the 15%. Is this what you all have been told, as well?
