Honestly, I'm on the fence. I haven't *yet* had anything change, but at this point, I know it's a question of "when," not "if." I understand if you are IC, then you don't really work for N anymore (although they probably own the off-shoot company?) but you don't have a schedule, don't have FIESA, and you're an IC. Even with all those things, if I chose to go acute care, I will at least still be an employee and they can handle my insurance, taxes, and PTO. Like I said, on the fence.
I really feel like either decision I make will be wrong but I am so very grateful to all of you for spreading the word.
