for QA. I've been at a company just coming 6 months. Oh sure, there were some encouraging comments when I was still on review. Now? Not so much. Like not ever. I'm so sorry you gave up and packed it in after just the 1st day. It's hard to stay thick-skinned when they constantly rake you over the coals, but I have sent many emails to an owner with regard to proven errors made by QA, and I have never once been questioned. The 1st month is always a living nightmare. I just keep telling myself that which does not kill us makes us strong. You tested well, your interview went well, your training went well. The 1st day/week/month is just boot camp. I have many QA voodoo dolls with many pins in them! When I find myself getting a migraine or getting sick to my stomach at the thought of one more shift, then I know it's time to go. Best of luck on your next job.
