There were dues when I was a CMT plus the fee to maintain the continuing ed credits. You don't have to pay for webinars or reading material, go to the library and there is a lot of free access on line, you are just funding AHDI for doing nothing. You said you were paying $55 dollars every 3 years, I think that must be a fee to maintain your credits. If it benefits you to give them money, that's great, just don't judge others and say they are not very nice people because they don't want to be members.
