I have been an MT for over 30 years. I was lucky enough to be trained on-site at a hospital, with pay. As I went along learning, every word, medication, body part, disease that I did not know about, I researched and memorized everything. My co-workers were very helpful. It took me a good three years of doing this work to feel confident at it. Anyway, the MT industry is now "dead in the water." The pay is ridiculous. If you can go another route, I would strongly suggest it.
