if you keep that to a minimum commitment, frequently companies will have times that extra work is available and it almost feels like you are working when you want to. When you work in that "extra" work time that they put out call for, they frequently let the work pools go dry, not stopping those extra workers until the last jobs are gone.
This is not a dependable income situation for you and you will have to accept that there may be not be any work at all at times. Depends on the company and the ebbs and flows, vacation schedules, and new accounts and loss of accounts.
