I may have missed it, but I did not see anyone mention that if a job has a horrible dictation, and you have more than 3 blanks, it automatically goes to QA--and if more than 10% of the week's work goes to QA, then you automatically get 7 cents a line NO MATTER WHAT--even if you are at 100%, no errors 250 lines an hour. So, if you are typing a slew of bad dictations--because they are driving in a car or at home with dog barking and baby crying, out of range for the cell phone--then you are the one who pays for the terrible dictation, and for the average transcriptionist, that's more than $100 a week.
