My account manager who handles the scheduling is the one who insists I make up time, even an hour. I missed 2 hours one evening to attend a coding meeting, and she insisted I work the 2 hours on one of my days off. Like I said, I can refuse, but that could cost me the job since 3 strikes and your out.
