They need to back off or you need to complain to your labor board that they are treating you like an employee. Of course, I'd go find another IC job before I did that, give them two weeks'(or whatever your contract stipulates) notice, and then complain to the labor board. You might not have to pay the extra social security tax for the time worked at that place -- they should be paying it.
