I think it is sad that they would require this kind of line count. I am not sure there is any company in this industry that requires that kind of line count. What is even worse are MTs who wish to stay on PT or as ICs without receiving benefits or PTO rather than being fired. I would only be there long enough to find another job, and would probably take time off without pay as vacation before I left.
Please keep us all posted on how this turns out.
