QC gets better sound quality - pmk

Posted: Nov 24th, 2015 - 12:26 am In Reply to: always better - QA and QC get much better audio - all smiles

Where I work in a QC capacity dialing into a Dictaphone Enterprise system, we do get better sound quality because it is in the listen mode and not the transcription mode and is on a different channel. 98% of the blanks people send in, I can hear very plainly. Don't know why that is and I have brought it up many times because I also transcribe, but if I have too many blanks from a lousy dictator, I can relisten to it in a different mode. It may also be the same in whatever system you are using, but it's not deliberate nor a conspiracy, just a fluke in the system, I guess.
