I am more inclined to believe you simply because initially when were told of the transition to N the HR person said unemployment was not an option because of the job offer. At a later meeting she said we could apply because the hospital would have to say we were let go because of a "reduction in workforce" and nothing more. Because she changed her tune I am more inclined to believe what she said initially.
