asked on this board can draw a number of different answers from a number of different MTs, why are so many questions suspect? Maybe some MTs would just like to get a different perspective on a question they've been wondering about for awhile. What is the problem with that? No....this isn't a test question. ;)
nope not a test,.. I just want it to be correct and have issues with my punctuation - dawn

I find punctuation hard at times, or I find I will do it one day, and I just like to see how what some other takes on it might be. Then I either think AWESOME, I was thinking that too (or another way I was thinking) or I see a different insight and think Thanks! that looks much better than I had it :)
are you on QA or do your reports go to the client? - reports

If you are on QA, you will be notified, if directly to the client and there are no complaints, then leave it as is.
I do not get you: Are you experimenting with punctuation, there are rules, or do you pick the option that looks better?

assignment or test questions on the Word Help Board.
Now, I think, this rule can be "shelved," since how are we supposed to know what is a test question or not?
So, the test takers or MT students continue to ask questions, hoping we will answer them.
Strange and unenforceable rule!
In case you do not hear from me in a while, I have been banned for posting this!

I didn't ask in re: to tests.. I am working for a company the past 6 months (took that long to find work), but I guess I doubt myself a lot. Or I find I reread what I type so much, it starts looking jumbled or incorrect (too much analyzing I guess).
for dawn: what I found regarding commas is that more often than not - commas

what I decide the first time to punctuate is usually the correct form.
Also, if in doubt, leave it out. It is better to put less commas than too many.
The more I think it over, read once more and make pauses in my speech, then it comes out wrong.
Punctuation rules are not so difficult and that many, and often 2 versions are accepted as correct.
Then you have to follow the account specifics or what your QA prefers.

Hello to all MT posters-
- Am wondering about tips about sentence breaks and comma use. Any advice/guidelines when the doctor is running fast and sentence breaks and paragraphing don't seem obvious?
-Thanks to the MT's that give advise in a professional manner. So many of the newbie posts hit right at home.
-Still waiting for my AIM internship to start. Has anyone interned with AIM?
